What if I don't quilt?
If you don't quilt or don't have the time, you can still support our project by your donations.
It costs about $20 to ship a quilt to eastern Congo. We are a non-profit organization classified by the IRS as exempt under IRC Section (501) (c) (3) and as a public charity under IRC section 509. All donations are tax exempt and will be acknowledged.

How to Participate
You can make and donate a quilt for this project from anywhere in the United States. Quilting groups and guilds are encouraged to participate - please contact Barbara Allen at barbara@hopequilts.org. Follow the guidelines for size and shipping below, and your quilt will be sent to these women at the Heal Africa Hospital in Goma, Congo.
Making a Quilt
The following parameters need to be followed for quilt construction:
Machine quilted.
Separate binding attached by hand or machine.
Quality of workmanship you would have in your own home.
Please include a sewn-in label on the back with your name or organization, city and state.
